So have you touched a ball of Sirdar Temptation and not been sure about knitting it well honestly for a mohair yarn it's not too bad at all, it doesn't get up your nose anywhere near as much as I thought it would.
When the rep showed me Sirdar Temptation earlier in the year I literally just sat there and stroked it and I knew it had to move into the shop. It's one of those yarns that's really tactile it's also incredibly soft. With it been a chunky yarn it knits up fast and one ball seems to go on forever as well.
It would be absolutely perfect for knitting a soft cuddly winter jumper in fact that's exactly what I did with it.
Yes OK a few bits did come off it when I knitted it, I'm not going to lie about it, but honestly for a mohair yarn is shed very little really. It was nice to knit, it was quick and I can't wait to wear it. For now I will just have to put up with giving it a stroke everytime I walk past it in the shop.
The other thing that surprised me is its not itchy, either to knit or against your skin. It's also machine washable which is another big tick in the box.
So instead of thinking about it and leaving it sat there on the shelf looking at you, give it ago you won't be disappointed.
