Yarn Shop Day Saturday 6th May - Come along and join in the fun

It's nearly that time of year again, and all the planning is starting to come together. I have to admit apart from the Yarndale Coach Trip this is without a doubt my most favourite day of the year (ok I will confess I can't pick between them).

So this year line up is as follows. It is open house all day from 10 am to 4 pm so, just call in whenever you feel like it. Knit n natter will be running 10 am to 12 pm you are more than welcome to join us we can always find more chairs. From 1 pm the yarn bingo will commence and we are playing for yarn.

There will be goodie bags for the first 20 customers to spend over £10. Spend over £30 either on the day or in the week before YSD and you will be entered into the prize draw to win a yarn hamper worth £100. There is a spot the sheep competition first prize is 12 balls of King Cole Baby Alpaca DK.

We will have yarn cakes and yarn gradients hand dyed by Felt Fusion on sale. This years shop anniversary blanket kits will also be on sale.

We are also hoping to reveal our plans for the long term future of the shop on YSD, I know some of you have heard on the grapevine but you will have to call into the shop to hear it first hand and see the plans.

Now for the boring bit a huge shout out to King Cole for providing the first prize for the spot the sheep competition, all the yarn prizes for yarn bingo and for laying claim to the window displays (again). Also thanks to Grove and Banks Ltd and GMC Books for there donations towards the yarn hamper. As for the rest of our suppliers your not getting a mention until you come up with a prize donation. I might even publicly shame you in the window as well as on here.

Hope to see as many of you as possible on the day if not before.

Vickie
