Weave A Scarf in a Day
Create an original handwoven scarf at this beginners weaving workshop surrounded by gorgeous yarn at ‘Wool n stuff’ in Wakefield
A perfect opportunity to design and make a totally unique gift or a fabulous treat for yourself.
In this beginners workshop you will be weaving on Ashford looms which are suitable for those new to weaving – the most difficult part of this workshop will be selecting your yarns from the extensive range available at ‘Wool n Stuff’
You could weave with a snugly, soft, shade dyed yarn, or go wild and create a crazy colourful scarf, the choice is yours!
You will be expertly guided through designing your scarf, preparing the loom and weaving by Central Saint Martins trained weaver Anne Crowther.
Small group size with social distancing measures in place, book early!
The workshop begins at 10am and we’ll finish around 4.30pm
Dates: Saturday 27th April 10 am to 4.00 pm or Saturday 14th September 10 am to 4.30 pm
