Are you looking to join a craft group in West Yorkshire? Then here is the details of all the groups that currently run from our shop Wool n Stuff @ 46 Kirkgate, Wakefield, WF1 1TQ.

First up the oldest of our groups The Odd Balls Knit n Natter which have been running for 7 years now. But don't let that put you off new members are always welcome and the group is always expanding.Our knit n natter group meets four times a week and is always vibrant. It's open to people that knit, crochet or cross stitch and beginners are welcome. Between us we have many years of experience in a whole range of crafts so if you are a bit stuck one of us is bound to be able to help.

The Odd Balls Knit n Natter group meets every Monday 12.30 - 2.30 pm, Tuesday 12.30 - 2.30 pm, Wednesday 4 - 7 pm (access is through the back door after 5 pm) and Saturday 10 - 12 noon. With the exceptions of Bank Holiday's the group is always on regardless. If your coming on a Wednesday night and need directions please ring the shop on 01924 565740 and we will explain how to get to the back door.

On the first Saturday of each month our brand new Stitch Club meets 1- 3 pm starting Saturday 4th January. This is aimed at people that are interested in hand sewing - cross stitch, applique, tapestry, paper piecing or any other form of hand sewing. This is brand new group that is starting in January 2020 and we hope it will prove as popular as the Knit n Natter group.

The Happy Stabbers is another new group which will be meeting the first Friday of each month 10 - 2 pm starting on Friday 7th February. This group is aimed purely at people interested in needle felting. So bring along your needle felting project and get stabbing our resident needle felting tutor Sarah will be on hand if you need a bit of advice. 

All the groups are provided free of charge although we do have an honesty jar to cover the costs of hot drinks. Remember our shop has full disabled access and anyone is welcome to join one of our craft groups.
