Viking Garn Alpaca Bris chunky yarn brings a beautifully soft, lightweight feel to cosy knits for adults and children. Blending baby alpaca with merino wool and nylon, this air-blown yarn is a lovely choice for garments you’ll look forward to wrapping up in.

Softness without the weight

Alpaca Bris is made by blowing wool fibres into a knitted tube, creating an airy yarn that feels light and comfortable to wear. Described as itch-free, it offers a gentle feel for both grown-up and children’s projects.

Yarn details

Blend: 60% baby alpaca, 11% merino wool and 29% nylon.
Ball weight: 50g.
Length: approximately 150 metres per ball.
Recommended needle size: 6–7mm.
Care: machine washable.
Origin: produced in Peru.
