The Sew Simple range of counted cross stitch kits from Fat Cat Cross Stitch is perfect as a next step for slightly older children with some experience of cross stitching and is also ideal for adult beginners.
These kits are stitched on 11-count blank aida fabric (with 11 holes per inch of fabric) using stranded cotton embroidery threads.
The designs are easy to follow on the colour chart supplied and use only a limited number of colours.
The charts also show the stitches in symbol form - an ideal way to make the transition from colour charts to the more traditional symbols found on most counted cross stitch charts.
Each kit comes with everything you need to complete the design and there's also a full colour photograph on the front of each kit to use as a reference.
