Discover the art of painting with fabric

Kinusaiga is a traditional Japanese art form sometimes described as “painting with fabric”. Instead of sewing, you tuck pieces of fabric into grooves in a foam board, building up a picture full of colour and texture.

Choose from Balloon, Beach, Bridge or Sun designs. The Sun design features the sun beaming over drifting clouds and rolling hills.

A creative project to enjoy at your own pace

Follow the printed pattern, cut grooves in the foam board, then use the included stitch ripper to tuck the assorted fabrics into place. The kit includes materials, tools and instructions to guide you through your picture, with no sewing required. Finish by displaying your fabric artwork in the included white frame.
